Dee Jay Midz

The Writeup

Deejay Midz (aka Midz Skywalker), is a Toronto native and all around music lover. His love for music started with the emergence of hip-hop artists such as Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas and Outkast to name a few. He asked for his first set of turntables at the age of 13 and was quickly shutdown. It took another 14 years for him to get his first set and he hit the ground running. Under the direction of Toronto legend DJ Grouch, he soon became proficient in the art of Djing.Within 6 months he was playing at for variety of clubs across the city.

His musically knowledge and versatility has afforded him the opportunity to DJ in Ottawa and Cancun as well as for major corporate brands such as Enactus, Umbra, MLSE, and Vibrant Marketing. He has even been the opening DJ for acts like Pusha T. His tireless work ethic and hunger to be the best has afforded him the opportunity to play for a variety of crowds with music ranging from Hip Hop, RNB, Top 40, House, Dancehall, Reggae, Latin, Soul, Funk and many more. He treats every performance like it’s his last and takes great pride in his craft. He aspires to be a world renowned talent, and is well on his way.
